Square Enix today announced the final details for the release of the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which is scheduled for April 14th in the world. The MMORPG will be available in two editions of the new Sony console, a normal and a collector. If you have already purchased it on PC or PS3, you know that content is identical on PS4, with one exception: the addition of a Mog doll mascot and a chocobo mount Gros. Preorders just started, you can go to the store of Square Enix France (links below) to see the details and book yours.
Standard Edition, Collector, Doll Mascot Big Chocobo Mog and mount
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn normal edition (PS4, € 34.99)
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector's Edition (PS4, € 69.99)
If you already own the PS3 version of the game, Square Enix and Sony offer an exchange program that will allow you to download free FFXIV on PS4. However, this will disable your access to PS3 and you need to buy a new copy on the console if you want to continue playing. Finally, note that in Japan, the cover of the PS4 version of FFXIV will benefit from a new image created by Akihiko Yoshida. You can see below.
